OUR APPROACH
Therapy at Radical Presence Healing is a relational, collaborative process rooted in attuned connection and embodied awareness. We believe healing happens through presence—when what is here is met with care, curiosity, and respect rather than urgency or fixing.
We move at a pace that honors your nervous system, your lived history, and the many conditions shaping your life. You don’t need to know where you’re going or have the “right” words to begin—only a willingness to meet what’s here together.
Radical Presence
& Healing in Relationship
We believe healing unfolds through relationship—when experience is met with radical presence, care, and attuned connection rather than fixing or forcing change. Therapy is not something done to you, but a collaborative process that emerges between us, shaped by trust, responsiveness, and a shared willingness to meet what is here together.
Radical presence is the practice of staying with experience as it unfolds—thoughts, emotions, sensations, and relational patterns—without rushing to resolve or change them. Rather than working around discomfort, we gently turn toward it, trusting that understanding, choice, and movement emerge over time when experience is met with steadiness and care.
Healing is understood as inherently relational. We pay close attention to what happens between us in the room, recognizing that relational patterns often mirror how we move through the world beyond therapy. By meeting these patterns within a safe, responsive relationship, new possibilities for connection, agency, and change can emerge.
A Holistic, Trauma-Informed Lens
We approach therapy through a holistic, trauma-informed lens that honors the whole person—mind, body, emotion, and spirit. Trauma can disrupt the natural flow of connection between these aspects of experience, often in ways that once served to protect us.
Our work integrates talk therapy with somatic awareness, mindfulness, and other supportive practices to help restore a sense of balance, safety, and coherence. Healing is understood as non-linear and deeply human, shaped by both personal experience and broader contexts of culture, identity, and social systems.
We believe healing cannot be rushed. Sessions unfold at a pace that feels accessible and supportive, with an emphasis on consent, choice, and nervous system safety. Therapy becomes a container where change emerges through presence and ease rather than pressure.
Healing is not a linear process, and it doesn’t require perfection or readiness.
It begins with willingness—to slow down, to notice, and to be met where you are.
We offer a steady space to explore what’s present, together.
Embodied & Contemplative Practice
Our approach is rooted in contemplative psychotherapy and embodied awareness. We attend not only to thoughts and emotions, but also to how experience lives in the body.
By slowing down and gently bringing attention to physical sensations, emotional signals, and subtle shifts in awareness, therapy becomes a way of reconnecting with the body’s innate intelligence. This embodied listening supports regulation, insight, and a deeper sense of trust in one’s internal experience.
Commitment to Personal Practice
As contemplative psychotherapists, Brianna and Raymond are grounded in long-term personal practice and training in mindfulness and meditation. These practices shape how they understand suffering and how they hold the therapeutic relationship—with steadiness, care, and presence.
Through their own ongoing practice, they cultivate the capacity to stay with complexity, uncertainty, and emotional intensity. This allows them to offer a grounded, attentive presence with clients, even when what is being explored feels tender or difficult to name.
They understand the mind and body as wise and protective, often responding to past experiences in ways meant to ensure safety. Therapy becomes a space to gently meet these patterns with curiosity, allowing greater choice, connection, and vitality to emerge over time.
Accessibility & Care
We believe access to therapy matters. At Radical Presence Healing, we strive to make care available through multiple pathways, including private pay, insurance, and Medicaid.
Offering a range of payment options is part of our commitment to meeting people where they are and reducing barriers to support. We recognize that access to care is shaped by real-world conditions, and we aim to hold these realities with the same thoughtfulness and care we bring to the therapeutic relationship.
We offer both in-person sessions in Denver and virtual therapy for residents of Colorado, allowing flexibility in how and where care unfolds. Details about availability, fees, and insurance coverage can be found on each therapist’s individual page.
